Pregnancy Yoga

Tuesdays, 6-7pm, Lifecare Centre, Stockbridge

Pregnancy yoga has so many benefits for both mum and baby, such as improved strength, mobility and posture, helping ease common prenatal aches and pains, as well as reduced stress, anxiety and improved sleep, oxygen levels and baby positioning. As a FEDANT-accredited Active Birth teacher, I weave birth preparation tools into every class, including breathing and relaxation techniques, poses to improve baby’s positioning and help you have a more positive birth.

Postnatal Yoga

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1-2pm, Lifecare Centre, Stockbridge

My postnatal classes fuse yoga with functional movement to help rebuild your core and pelvic floor, improve your posture and breathing mechanics, strengthen the hips and spine, and help ease stress and anxiety and boost your energy and mood. These classes have a wonderful supportive community and are a great way to meet fellow new mums.

Birth Preparation

As a FEDANT-accredited Active Birth teacher, I run regular birth preparation workshops in Edinburgh
for you and your birth partner. During these movement-based workshops we cover:

  • The amazing physiology of labour and birth

  • The anatomy of the pelvis and why babies are born more easily in an Active Birth

  • How to make the most of your birth environment to support physiology

  • Positions and movements for labour and birth

  • Breathing exercises and relaxation techniques to use during labour

  • Ways your partner can support you during labour

  • Methods of natural pain relief

  • How to combine an Active Birth with medical pain relief and interventions

Restore Your Core + Pelvic Floor is my signature online postnatal yoga program. Over the course of 12 weeks we meet live online every Monday to progressively rebuild your core and pelvic floor, reduce aches and pains, and help feel like YOU again.
